Health and Social Care – This Cambridge National Certificate in Health and Social Care provides students will an opportunity to study the essential values of care for use with individuals in care settings, learn about the importance of communicating and working with individuals in health, social care and early years settings, understand the nutrients needed for good health and to develop ideas about how creative activities support individuals in health, social care and early years settings. Cambridge Nationals in Health and Social Care provide students with essential knowledge, transferable skills and tools to improve their learning in other subjects, with the aim of enhancing their employability when they leave education, thus contributing to both their personal development and future economic well-being. This course is assessed through a series of controlled assessment tasks and a written examination.

Business- This course gives learners an insight into setting up a business and growing a business. Students will gain an understanding in starting a business, marketing, finance, people in business and operations management. The areas of study encourage candidates to consider the practical application of business and economic concepts. The course explores the theories and concepts in the context of events in the business and economic world.  GCSE Business provides progression for those wishing to continue their studies to GCE Business, GCE Economics or GCE Applied Business. This course is assessed through formal examinations and by the completion of a controlled assessment task.

Leisure and Tourism – This GCSE course gives learners and understanding of the leisure and tourism industry. Students will gain an understanding as to the contribution that leisure and tourism makes to society and the economy, they will develop an awareness that health and safety issues are an integral part of the industry and also understand the importance of sustainable development and environmental issues. This course is suitable for students who have an interest in roles such as facility management, the entertainment industry, cabin-crew, sports instructor, holiday representative or conference organiser. This course is assessed through formal examinations and by the completion of a controlled assessment task.
